Resources for Learning, Not Diagnosis

TogetherWell resources are primarily educational, developmental and reflective. They are designed to support learning, healthy conversations, personal and family reflection, and informed decision-making.

They are not intended to diagnose mental-health conditions, determine whether someone has a particular disorder, replace medical or psychological assessment, or substitute for appropriate professional care when specialised support is needed.

A resource can help you understand what may be happening. It cannot always determine everything that is happening or provide all the help that may be needed.

How We Develop Our Resources

Thoughtful Resources for Real Family Life

TogetherWell resources are developed to make credible family-life and relationship knowledge understandable and practically useful. We seek to draw appropriately from relevant research, established professional knowledge and responsible practice while translating these into accessible resources people can use in everyday life.

At the same time, families do not live in textbooks. Our resources seek to remain attentive to African and particularly Nigerian realities—including extended-family relationships, cultural expectations, faith, economic pressures, parenting practices, intergenerational relationships and changing family dynamics.

Where Christian perspectives are included, we seek to distinguish biblical reflection from research evidence, professional practice and cultural assumptions rather than presenting them as though they are the same kind of knowledge.

Credible knowledge matters. Context matters. Practical application matters.

When a Resource Is Not Enough

Sometimes Information Is Only the Beginning

Reading an article, completing a worksheet or using a conversation guide can create insight and help people take meaningful steps. But some relationship and family situations require more than self-directed learning.

If you remain stuck, concerns continue to intensify, important patterns are difficult to understand or you need more structured support, TogetherWell may be able to help you identify an appropriate next step.

Where a concern requires clinical, medical, legal, safeguarding or another specialised professional response, seeking the appropriate qualified service may be more responsible than relying on educational resources alone.

Keep Learning. Keep Growing. Keep Building.

Healthy relationships and flourishing families are built over time. Small changes in understanding, communication, parenting, responsibility and everyday relational patterns can contribute to meaningful growth.

Use these resources to learn, reflect, have better conversations and practise healthier ways of living together.
